Utah State Soccer Announces 2013 Spring Schedule

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State head soccer coach Heather Cairns announced the 2013 spring schedule on Monday, which features seven road matches. USU will face off against four in-state opponents in BYU, Weber State, Utah and Utah Valley, while also playing Idaho State, UNLV and Wyoming. The Aggies will open the spring action in a doubleheader at Weber State on Saturday, March 23 as they take on BYU at 12 p.m. (MT) before facing the Wildcats at 4 p.m. USU will also play at Utah on Friday, March 29, as well as at Utah Valley on Friday, April 5, with both matches kicking off at 7 p.m. Utah State will continue the spring season against UNLV at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 and then wrap up spring play against Idaho State and Wyoming at the University of Utah on Saturday, April 20 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively. USU ended the 2012 season with an overall record of 13-3-6 as they won their fourth Western Athletic Conference regular season title in the last five years, including their second-straight. The Aggies also won their second-straight WAC Tournament title with a 1-0 victory over Denver at Chuck and Gloria Bell Soccer Field in Logan.
