Sept. 12, 2009
LOGAN, Utah - Utah State will take on Houston Baptist in women's soccer action on Sunday, Sept. 13. The match is slated for a Noon MT start time at HBU's Sorrels Field.
After a 1-0 loss Friday at the University of Texas at San Antonio, USU takes a 3-2-1 record into Sunday's match with the Huskies, who are 1-2-1 after a scoreless draw at McNeese State Friday night.

Utah State will be looking to break a three-match winless streak after losing to No. 20 Oklahoma and tying Wyoming, 1-1, last week in Logan, and then Friday's loss to UTSA.

This is the 14th season of Utah State soccer. The program holds an overall record of 99-134-14. Last year, the Aggies were 13-8-1, which was the third-straight season they had won at least 10 matches. USU is one win away from the program's 100th win.
Junior forward Lauren Hansen leads the Aggies in scoring with three goals and one assist for seven points. She also has one game-winning goal. Sophomore striker Shantel Flanary is second on the team in points scored with two goals and one assist for five points.
