UTEP is 2-5 on the year and split last weeks' games, beating Oklahoma State 2-1 in overtime, and losing to Eastern Washington 3-2. Sophomore Kelly Parker leads the Miners in goals and assists this season with four and three respectively. All-time USU is 0-1 against the Miners, losing 3-0 in 1997.

Youngstown State, 0-6 in 2000, is coming off two losses over the weekend to Canisius College (4-0) and Niagara (5-1). In eight games the Penguin's have been outscored 83-3 by their opponents. This will be the first meeting between Youngstown State and Utah State.

Freshman Ally Clegg (Bountiful, Utah) lit up the Wolf Pack defense scoring two goals and turning in one assist against Nevada, Sunday. Clegg's five points on the day place her in the Utah State record books, as she is now tied with teammate Jayme Gordy (Cheyenne, Wyo.) for fourth on USU's all-time list for points scored in a game.

Gordy scored her second goal of the season against Nevada. Gordy is ranked first on USU's all-time career goal list with 32.

Transfer Jessica Ebner, playing in her first regular season game as an Aggie, took two shots on goal and scored one goal in Sunday's game.

Utah State recorded its first victory of the 2000 season shutting out Nevada 4-0 Sunday afternoon. Senior Jayme Gordy was the first Aggie to find the net scoring off a penalty kick at the 33:19 mark. Gordy's goal sparked USU's offense as it went on to score the second goal of the period when freshman Ally Clegg dribbled the ball from 20 feet out and booted in the first goal of her collegiate career in the 39th minute of play. In the second half Utah State waited until the 74th minute to score again as transfer Jessica Ebner found the net from five yards out off a pass from Clegg. Eleven minutes later, at the 84:42 mark Clegg sealed the Aggie shutout scoring her second goal of the day and the Aggies fourth and final goal of the game. Big West Soccer Standings
