Utah State Athletics Announces Home Make-Up Dates With Air Force For Soccer And Volleyball Matches
Utah State Athletics in conjunction with the Air Force Academy and the Mountain West Conference have announced the make-up dates and times for the home USU soccer and volleyball versus Air Force events that were postponed due to the government partial shutdown. The Aggies and Falcons will meet on the soccer pitch on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 3 p.m. (MT) at Chuck and Gloria Bell Soccer Field, while USU and Air Force will make-up the volleyball match on Monday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State Athletics in conjunction with the Air Force Academy and the Mountain West Conference have announced the make-up dates and times for the home USU soccer and volleyball versus Air Force events that were postponed due to the government partial shutdown.

The Aggies and Falcons will meet on the soccer pitch on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 3 p.m. (MT) at Chuck and Gloria Bell Soccer Field, while USU and Air Force will make-up the volleyball match on Monday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

Both soccer and volleyball matches were originally scheduled for Oct. 4 and 5, respectively, but were postponed due to the government partial shutdown. The soccer match is the only scheduled meeting during the regular-season, while the volleyball teams also play each other on Nov. 7 in Colorado Springs, Colo.

USU soccer is currently 7-5-2 overall and 3-2-0 in MW action, and concludes its season-high, three-match road trip this week in Fort Collins against Colorado State on Friday, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m.

Aggie volleyball has an 11-7 overall and 4-3 MW mark, after sweeping Utah Valley in a non-conference match Tuesday night. USU resumes Mountain West action at Reno, Nev., against Nevada (2-16, 0-6 MW) on Saturday, Oct. 19 in a 3 p.m. (MT) match-up.
