WAC Soccer Tournament to be Streamed on Internet

LOGAN, Utah - The Western Athletic Conference, in conjunction with its Web site partner JumpTV Sports, has announced it will stream all of the matches of the 2008 WAC Soccer Tournament. Viewers can sign up by visiting www.WAC.tv. The soccer tournament will be held in Reno, Nevada, Nov. 6-9, and will feature the top six teams in the WAC. Two first round matches will be played on Thursday, Nov. 6 with the winners moving on to face the top two seeds in the semifinals the next day. The championship will be played at 1:00 p.m. (PT) on Sunday, Nov. 9. All five matches can be seen on WAC.tv by accessing the soccer tournament package for a one-time price of $10.95. Utah State has three regular season matches remaining this season on the road against Hawai`i (Oct. 24), San Jose State (Oct. 26) and Louisiana Tech (Oct. 31). The Aggies started the WAC season 4-0 for their best start ever. Utah State has advanced to the WAC Soccer Tournament every season since making the move from the Big West Conference in 2005.
