Miyashiro and Henrie Named to Mountain West Soccer All-Tournament Team

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State soccer had two players named to the Mountain West All-Tournament team Saturday with senior forward Mari Miyashiro and sophomore defender Lexie Henrie being honored by the conference after the conclusion of the championship.
Top-seeded San Diego State won its second-straight MW title with a 1-0 win over third-seeded Boise State on Saturday. The Aggies tournament run ended with a 3-2 loss to the Aztecs on Thursday.
Miyashiro earned her first all-tournament honor after scoring a goal in USU's, 2-0, win against Nevada in the first round. In the three matches, the senior had four shots, two of which were on goal.Henrie also earned her first all-tournament honor by playing 265 of the 290 minutes USU played in the tournament. Henrie and the Aggie defense allowed only three goals in three matches in the tournament for a 0.93 goals against average.
The Aggies end the 2013 season with a 10-7-5 record, including the dramatic run in the MW Tournament. USU defeated Nevada in the first round, before advancing to the semifinals after a PK shootout win over New Mexico in the second round.
