Of its 44 academic all-WAC selections from its spring sports, Utah State had 18 student-athletes from women's outdoor track honored, along with 12 from men's outdoor track, five from women's tennis, four from both softball and men's tennis, and one from the men's golf team.
Among those student-athletes graduating are 24 football players, 17 track athletes, five women's basketball players, four each from both soccer and softball, three each from both men's basketball, and men's and women's tennis, two golfers, one gymnast and one volleyball player.
2011 (Jr.): Played in 51 games and started in 44 games for the Aggies... Posted a .962 fielding percentage by putting out 83 runners on 92 attempts... Had a stand out game against UNLV (Feb. 18), where she had two RBI, one double, and three base on balls... Had eight assists against CS Bakersfield (Mar. 9)... Earned Academic all-WAC, as well as recipient of the Joe E. and Elma Whiteside Scholar-Athlete Award.
2010 (So.): Played in nine games, starting five... Missed time with an injury... Had a season-high three putouts against Utah on April 26 and New Mexico State on April 30... Had a double against Maine on Feb. 12.
Previous School: Hit .415 her final season at Yavapai College in Prescott, Ariz... Led her team to the Division I Junior College National Championship in 2009... Tallied one home run and 19 runs batted in for the 2009 season... Ended the season with 34 hits... Posted an on-base percentage of .468... Part of the Roughrider softball team that brought home the very first NJCAA Softball National Championship in Yavapai College history.
High School: Played third base and shortstop for Mountain View High School in Mesa, Ariz... Hit .500 her senior season at Mountain View HS... In 2008, named to the all-East Valley region team.
Personal: Born Feb. 21, 1990... Daughter of Bart and Teresa Day... Has four sisters, Trina, Brianna, Brooke and Terra... Majoring in human movement science.
