2015 (JR): Played in 27 games, making 15 starts behind the plate... Batted .186 on the year with eight hits in 43 at-bats... Was walked 10 times and hit three doubles... Scored eight runs while batting in an additional three... Hit doubles in back-to-back games against South Dakota State (Feb. 8) and Hawai’i (Feb. 13)... Tallied 47 putouts and two assist for a .925 fielding percentage... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors and was a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete... 2014 (SO): Played in 42 games, starting 30... Batted .218 on 87 at-bats... Hit three doubles and two triples... Was walked 16 times... Drove in six runners on the year... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors and was a Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete recipient.

2013 (FR): Saw action in 21 games, while starting three at the DP spot… Recorded two hits in 12 at-bats for a .167 batting average… Put out seven runners, recording a season-high three putouts against Utah (April 17) and Texas State (May 3)… Ended the season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage… Was a Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete recipient.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner at ‘Iolani High School in Honolulu, Hawaii... Started every game at catcher... Batted .448 as the captain of her squad... Received an all-state selection in 2012... Posted a 3.6 GPA and made the Headmaster’s list twice in four years... Also competed in cross country and bowling in high school.

PERSONAL: Daughter of John Namba and Donna Nakamura... Full given name is Kirstyn Nani Mieko Namba... Majoring in pre-physical therapy.
