Schroeder joins the Aggie staff after working for the Softball Performance Workshop in Placentia, Calif. She was a private softball instructor, working with kids from ages 8-18 years old. Schroeder also brings a wealth of experience to the Aggies outside of the softball world, working for companies such as Gablit and lululemon athletica.

"I've had the opportunity to work with Michelle in the past so we're both familiar with what and how each other teach and coach, which is important as we will both be working with our hitters. She has a great passion for the game and especially some of the finer points that often get overlooked. I'm looking forward to seeing her develop our slappers and base running into a potent part of our offense," Johnson said.

Schroeder was a three-year letterwinner at Stanford, graduating in 2011 with a degree in human biology with an emphasis in adolescent development. She played for the Western Australia Women's Open softball team in 2010 and 2011, while also playing for the Western Australia Women's Open baseball team in 2012.

The Yorba Linda, Calif., native graduated from Esperanza High School in 2006, where she was an all-California Interscholastic Federation selection her senior season.
