Aggie Softball Postponed Due To Inclement Weather

PROVO, Utah - Low temperatures caused Wednesday's softball doubleheader between Utah State and BYU in Provo to be postponed.
The Aggies (12-15) and the the Cougars (20-7) are looking to re-schedule the game at a later day at a site to be determined. Utah State fought cold temperatures and windy conditions in a doubleheader against Utah Valley on March 30. The Aggies were swept by the Wolverines 3-1 and 13-4 in five innings.
Utah State will host Nevada in its WAC home opener Friday-Saturday, April 2-3 at LaRee and LeGrand Softball Field. Nevada leads the overall series with the Aggies 12-19. Last season, the Wolf Pack swept the Aggies in the three-game series.
Utah State is 0-4 in WAC home openers. Last season, the Aggies lost to WAC-newcomer Boise State 2-0 in Logan. The first two seasons in the league the Aggies played WAC powerhouse Fresno State in the home opener with 3-2 and 8-0 five-inning losses.
