USU Softball Postpones Tuesday's Game With Utah Valley

LOGAN, Utah - Due to poor field conditions and impending inclement weather, Utah State softball's game against Utah Valley, scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at LaRee and LeGrand Johnson Softball Field has been postponed. A possible make-up date will be announced at a later date.
This was scheduled to be the third meeting this season between the Wolverines and the Aggies. Utah State captured the first two meetings in Orem on March 18 with a doubleheader sweep. USU captured the first game, 4-1, and finished the sweep with an 8-7 victory. Sophomore pitcher Noelle Johnson earned the wins in both of the victories.
The Aggies are currently 13-17 overall and 3-3 in Mountain West action. USU has lost four-straight games after winning eight in a row.
Utah State tentatively has four games scheduled for the rest of the week. The Aggies travel to Provo to take on BYU on Wednesday, April 2 at 4 p.m. USU will then return to Mountain West action on Friday, April 4 against San José State at 3 p.m. The Aggies will honor the 30th anniversary of the 1984 NCAA Women's College World Series team prior to the game that begins at 1 p.m. The weekend series finale will be on Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m.
