Aggie Softball Postpones Three-Game Series Due To Inclement Weather

LOGAN, Utah - Conditions at LaRee and LeGrand Johnson Field and incoming inclement weather caused Utah State softball to postpone all three games of its upcoming Western Athletic Conference series with New Mexico State. The series was to be begin Friday, April 3 with a single game and conclude with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 4. No make up date has been determined at this point. The Aggies (8-22) most recently split a doubleheader with Utah Valley in Orem. USU dropped the opener and came back to earn their first shutout of the season in the back half of the doubleheader. Utah State will now prepare for six games next week if weather permits. The Aggies are scheduled to travel to Salt Lake City to take on Utah on Monday, April 6 at 4 p.m. This game is a rescheduled game that was previous set to be played on March 25. The two teams will turn around and play a doubleheader in Logan on Tuesday, April 6. USU will then take the long trip to Honolulu for a three-game series WAC with Hawai`i. The Aggies and the Rainbow Wahine will play a single game on Friday, April 10 and conclude the series with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 11.
