In between Friday's two games, USU will be honoring its five seniors, utility player Katie Bowdidge, designated plated Kali Cancelosi, pitcher Mandy Harmon, infielder Christine Thomsen and pitcher Shelbi Tyteca, who are all set to graduate this spring. Admisssion is free and fans are encouraged to come out to Johnson Field in support of the seniors.

Texas State enters this weekend's series with a 14-35 overall record to go along with an 8-10 mark in WAC games. The Bobcats are locked in a four-way tie for third place in the conference standings with Louisiana Tech, UTSA and Seattle U.

The Aggies are coming off a heartbreaking weekend in Arlington, Texas, where the Mavericks took three games from the visiting team. The final score in all three games was 1-0 in favor of the home team. With the three losses, Utah State was eliminated from qualifying for the WAC Tournament in Ruston, La.

Utah State is led by a pair of seniors, as Harmon and Thomsen will suit up for their final games at Johnson Field. Harmon has a 1.96 earned run average in conference action to go along with five complete games and 41 strikeouts.

Offensively, Thomsen continues to be a force at the plate as the senior is batting a conference-best .421 this season, producing 45 hits for USU. She has also only struck out six times in 107 trips to the plate this season. The senior will be looking to capture her first conference batting title, as she finished second last year in the WAC, with a .418 average.

The Aggies will conclude action in the series on Saturday with a single game against the Bobcats. Game time is set for 4 p.m., at Johnson Field.
