Fernando Gallegos is in his first year as an assistant coach for Utah State. Gallegos, a native of Yucatan Mexico, will graduate from USU this May with a degree in public relations and then plans on attending graduate school. Gallegos began his collegiate career at Southeastern Oklahoma before transferring to Utah State. As a prep player in Mexico, Gallegos was a region champion in both singles and doubles and ranked among the top 16 in the nation. He also won a bronze medal in the Mexican Tennis Olympics. |
