Final Stats

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Utah State women's tennis lost, 5-2, Saturday to Idaho in the second day of play at the tournament.

USU freshman Hailey Swenson defeated Barbara Maciocha at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-7, 10-6, while freshman Taylor Perry beat Idaho's Jana Siwa, 0-6, 6-4, 10-8, at No. 5 singles.

USU had no wins in the doubles matches with sophomore Brianna Harris and junior Bridgette Strickland coming close in the No. 1 doubles slot falling, 8-6,against Irimescu and Laura Leoni.

Aggies continue play Sunday, Feb. 10 against University of Texas El Paso at 9 a.m. (MT).
