Women's Tennis Blanked By UTEP, 7-0, On Sunday
Feb. 10, 2008 EL PASO, Texas - Utah State women's tennis fell to UTEP, 7-0, Sunday afternoon at the El Paso Tennis Club. The Aggies fall to 2-5 on the season, while the Miners improve to 5-1. USU junior Bridgette Strickland fell at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-1, to Megan Pritchard, while freshman Jennifer Johnson fell by the same score to UTEP's Amber Brightly in the No. 6 spot. Strickland paired up with freshman Brianna Harris in the No. 2 doubles match and the duo fell, 8-6, to the Miners' Weronika Bloczynska and Pritchard. The Aggies host Weber State on Thursday, Feb. 21 in their season home-opener. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m. in the Sports Academy and Racquet Club. UTEP 7, Utah State 0
