UTAH STATE WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO COLORADO STATE RAMS

LOGAN, Utah--Only one point was scored by Utah State's women's tennis team as it fell to the Colorado State Rams 6-1 Thursday afternoon.

Utah State started off strong winning the doubles point against the Rams. Lindsey Bennion and Carolyn Stephens won the number one doubles as they held their opponents to only one point defeating them 8-1. Lauren Monson and Jill Smith clained the number three spot sealing he doubles point in winning their match 8-5.

In singles action the Aggies were defeated in all six of their matches. Head Coach Christian Wright said, "We didn't play badly, there were just a lot of unforced errors, that didn't allow us to finish off the point."

The Aggies will gear up to play on Tuesday, March 29th hosting the Weber State Wildcats at 1:00 p.m.
