USU Women's Tennis Falls To Northern Colorado, 6-1, Friday

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's tennis fell to Northern Colorado, 6-1, Friday at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club in Logan. Aggies fall to 6-13 on the season as the Bears improve to 5-12.

The Aggies only point came from freshman Hailey Swenson's win at No. 2 singles. Swenson defeated UNC's Tiffany Knop in a quick match, 6-1, 6-1.

In doubles action, Swenson paired up with freshman Brianna Harris, as the duo lost a close 8-7 match in the No. 1 spot to UNC's Tabatha Knop and Manuela Santos.

USU continues action Tuesday, April 15, as they host Idaho State at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club at 1 p.m.
