Women's Tennis Opens Spring Tennis

Jan. 20, 2005

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's women's tennis team opens it's spring season taking on the 10th ranked Washington Huskies in Provo on Friday morning at 11.

The Aggies will be opening against the Huskies after struggling to a 5-14 record in 2004 and going 0-6 in the Big West. The Aggies look to be led by senior Carolyn Stephens and sophomore Lauren Monson.

"We are excited to play in Provo," said Utah State head coach Christian Wright. "Washington is a team we do not normally see and new matches are always good."
