PROVO, Utah - Utah State's women's tennis team was swept by the Washington Huskies 7-0 on Friday afternoon. Washington is currently ranked 10th in the nation.

"It was a good experience to play a top ten team," said Utah State head coach Christian Wright. "We went out and played well and fought hard. The women were a little impatient, but that's something we'll work on for Saturday's match."

Utah State plays it's first home match of the season taking on Montana State on Saturday at 10 a.m.

"It's always nice to play at home," said Wright. "Montana State has been a good rivalry, and we're excited to play them at home."

The bubble at the Sports Academy and Raquet Club, where matches are normally played, collapsed last week because of heavy snowfall. Matches will now be played at two separate locations. No. 1 and 2 doubles and No. 1 and 2 singles will be played at the indoor courts at the Sports Academy, located at 1655 N. 200 East. No. 3 doubles and No. 3 and 4 singles will be played at the Harris Research Facility, located at 1530 N. 1000 West. No. 5 and 6 singles will be played on the first available courts.
