Utah State Women's Tennis Travels To Provo to Take On BYU Saturday

LOGAN, utah - Utah State women's tennis hits the road to Provo, Utah to take on instate rival BYU, Saturday, Jan. 26. Play is set to begin at 1 p.m. The Aggies started out the season right when they took down Idaho State in a 7-0 win on Jan. 19. All players played hard winning all six singles and two of the three doubles matches. Sophomore McKenzie Davis won, 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 1 spot and with partner senior Jaci West, took out Idaho State's Wiebke Boeckmann and Svenja Teqtmeier, 8-1, in doubles. They will both be big leaders in the upcoming match against BYU. Other athletes to watch include seniors Julie Tukuafu and Kristina Voytsekhovich. The Aggies' next match will be Feb. 8, when they take on Portland State at home. Play will begin at 12 p.m. and will take place at the Sports Academy and Racket Club in Logan.
