LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's tennis (4-0, 0-0 MW) hosts its first home match of the year when the Weber State Wildcats travel to Logan. First serve is set for 11 a.m. at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club.
The Aggies look to extend their own school recrod of consecutive wins to start a season, currently at four, against the Wildcats. If the Aggies beat Weber State, they will have matched their entire 2012-13 win total with five wins under first-year head coach Sean McInerney.
This season, the Aggies already have wins over Chicago State (5-2), South Dakota (6-1), Valparaiso (7-0), and Idaho State (6-1). Utah State is also led by sophomore Kallie Sperry, Davis's doubles partner, with three singles wins and four doubles wins. Two freshman are undefeated in singles, as Nini Guensler is 3-0 and Lexi Turley is 4-0.
