Utah State Women's Tennis Concludes 10-Match Road Swing With A Meeting Against Weber State Wednesday

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's women's tennis team (8-6, 0-2 MW) concludes a streak of 10-straight matches away from Logan with a dual match against Weber State (5-7, 0-3 Big Sky) on Wednesday, March 19 in Ogden, Utah, at 11:30 a.m. The Aggies and Wildcats have already faced each other this season, with the Aggies prevailing, 6-1, in Logan on Feb. 11.
Earlier this season, junior McKenzie Davis shined against Weber State, winning her singles match in straight sets at the No. 1 spot after winning her doubles match with her partner, sophomore Kallie Sperry. Davis and Sperry contributed to an Aggie sweep of the doubles point as freshmen Lexi Turley and Nini Guensler teamed up for a win, while sophomore Amber Stuhlmann partnered with freshman Cassidy Branstine for the third win. Guensler and Sperry also won their singles matches along with Branstine and freshman Katie Sweet.
On the year, Davis and Guensler each have 10 wins in singles to lead the team. In doubles play, Guensler and Turley have eight wins on the season playing together to lead the team.
The Wildcats are led by Agata Bachanek with four wins at the No. 1 spot and Thais Kurer with six wins in multiple positions.
