LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's tennis (10-7, 0-3 MW) continues a five-match homestand when the New Mexico Lobos (11-7, 0-1 MW) travel to Logan for a Mountain West contest. Both teams are looking for their first MW wins of the season. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club.

"New Mexico is very good; they're very young," said USU head coach Sean McInerney. "They are very aggressive; they play hard, and they're well-coached. That will be a huge challenge for us to see how we match up against one of the top programs in the Mountain West."

Utah State is led by junior McKenzie Davis, who leads the team with 13 singles wins during dual match play this spring. In doubles, Davis usually partners with sophomore Kallie Sperry, and the duo is 8-3 this spring. Freshman Nini Guensler is second on the team with 11 wins in singles.

New Mexico looks to Misa Bezdickova and Lizette Blankers at the top of their singles rotation, while Meredith Hopson has 11 wins this spring playing in multiple spots in the lineup. The Lobos are coming off a tough, 4-3 loss against Boise State on March 28.
