Utah State Women's Tennis Wraps Up Its Home Schedule This Week Against Montana and Northern Arizona

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's women's tennis team (10-8, 0-4 MW) is set to host the Montana Grizzlies (10-5, 5-0 Big Sky) on Thursday, April 3, and the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks (5-13, 4-2 Big Sky) on Sunday, April 6. First serve against Montana is scheduled for 11 a.m., while the NAU match is slated to begin at 5 p.m. These are the Aggies' final two home matches on their schedule.
Both matches are tentatively scheduled to be played indoors and held at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club, but location may change if the weather allows. Follow @USUWomensTennis on Twitter for any updates to location for this weekend's matches.
The Aggies are led by junior McKenzie Davis, who boasts a 14-2 record at No. 1 singles. USU is also led by freshman Nini Guensler with 11 wins and sophomore Kallie Sperry with nine wins in singles play. In doubles, Davis and Sperry partner together at the first position and have earned an 8-4 record in dual match play.
Utah State looks to snap a two-match losing skid against Montana, which is on a five-match winning streak of their own. Montana faces Utah (April 3) before making the trek to Logan. In dual match play, the Grizzlies are led by Ashley Mackey and Haley Driver, who have 11 wins each in singles, while the doubles tandem of Driver and Precious Gbadamosi have 11 wins in doubles.
The Lumberjacks have lost three matches in a row, but play against Weber State (April 5) and Idaho State (April 6) before travelling to Logan. Northern Arizona is led by Johanna Vang with eight singles wins and Jordan Denesik with seven of her own. Emelia Box and Hailey Rochin have eight wins in doubles during dual match play.
