Utah State Women's Tennis Falls to San Jose State, 4-0, at Home Friday
Aggies fall to 0-3 in WAC play with the loss.

LOGAN, Utah -
Utah State women's tennis was taken down by Western Athletic Conference rival San Jose State, 4-0, in a home match Friday. Both teams agreed to stop at four points and leave the other matches unfinished. USU falls to 4-8 on the season and 0-3 in league play with the loss.
In singles action, sophomore McKenzie Davis fell to Klaudia Boczova in straight sets at the No. 1 position (7-6, 6-3). At the No. 3 position, senior Kristina Voytsekhovich was defeated by Chau Truong in straight sets (6-3, 6-1) and at the No. 4 spot, senior Julie Tukuafu fell to Erica Medlin in straight sets (6-1, 6-4). The rest of the singles matches were left unfinished.
In doubles action, Davis and senior Jaci West fell to Medlin and Leon Chao, 8-3 at the first position. At the second doubles position, Voyteskhovich and freshman Kallie Sperry were defeated by Jessica Willett and Amber Walker, 8-5. And at the third doubles position, sophomore Hillary Hays and Tukuafu were taken down by Chau Truong and Julianna Bacelar, 8-5.
The Aggies will host two more WAC matches this weekend at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club as they take on Texas State on Saturday Apr. 6 at 12 p.m. and Seattle on Sunday Apr. 7 at 9 a.m. After this weekend the Aggies will take a break from WAC play as they travel to El Paso, Texas to take on UTEP on Thursday, Apr. 11 at 2 p.m.
