COACHSPEAK: Ashlan is as competitive as any kid I've coached. She works hard, not just in the gym, but in the weight room. She has developed her leadership skills as well and has really taken ownership of our team and what we're trying to teach and coach. She continues to be a fiery and enthusiastic competitor.
QUICKLY: Enters senior season with 1,203 career total digs, becoming just the third player in USU volleyball history with 1,200 career digs, needing 643 digs to tie Christine Morrill (2007-10) for the USU career digs record.
2013 SEASON (JR): Played in all 116 sets of all 31 matches during the year, one of four players to play in all 31 matches and one of three Aggies to see action in all 116 sets... Finished third in the Mountain West in digs with 4.34 per set, posting 503 total... The 503 digs made her just the fifth player in USU volleyball history with 500 digs in a season and was good for the No. 5 spot on USU's single-season digs list... Logged double-digit digs 28 times, including a 12-match streak to end the season... Posted 20 or more digs in seven matches, highlighted by a career-best 31 against Colorado State on Nov. 2... Finished fourth in the league in service aces with 0.31 per set, serving up a total of 36 aces on the season, paced by a career-high four against Fresno State on Nov. 16... Dished out 56 assists (0.48 per set), posting a career-high six against Northern Iowa on Aug. 31... Had a single kill on the season against Utah Valley on Oct. 15 to record an attack percentage of .333... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.
2012 SEASON (SO): Played in all 30 matches and 111 sets, one of six USU players to play in all 30 matches and one of five players to see action in all 111 sets... Ranked sixth in the WAC in digs with 3.72 pg, posting 413 total digs... Climbed to the No. 6 spot on USU's single-season digs list with 413 digs... Posted double-digit digs in 24 of the 30 matches, including 17 of last 22 matches, featuring streak of nine-straight matches from Sept. 8 to Oct. 6... Logged 20 or more digs six times, highlighted by season-high 27 digs at UTSA on Sept. 13... Added 24 digs vs. Seattle on Sept. 20 and 23 at Idaho on Oct. 18... Ranked seventh in the WAC in service aces with 0.25 per set, leading team with 28 aces... Tied a then career-high of three service aces in three matches, doing so in the first two matches of season, against both Portland and Utah on Aug. 24, as well as against Texas State on Nov. 10... Posted one kill against San José State on Nov. 10, tying career-high for the fourth time of career... Tallied 43 assists (0.39 aps), dishing out season-high five helpers at Idaho on Oct. 18, one of six matches with three or more assists... Earned academic all-WAC accolades.
2011 SEASON (FR): One of only two players to play in all 110 sets... One of four players to appear in all 29 matches... Ranked second on team with 287 digs (2.61 per set)... Posted 12 matches with double-digit digs, including setting her then career-high with 27 against Idaho on Nov. 5, while adding 19 vs. Syracuse on Sept. 2... Was the team leader in service aces with 23, including 13 during WAC-only matches... Had season-high three aces in two matches, first at UC Irvine on Sept. 16 and again at Louisiana Tech on Sept. 29... Added 25 assists and three kills... Earned academic all-WAC honors.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Named the Region 4 Most Valuable Player and the Most Valuable Player of the state tournament as a prep senior, helping Lone Peak (Utah) High School to the state championship... Lone Peak also won a state championship during her sophomore season... A three-time all-Utah Valley and all-state selection along with being named the Utah Valley Player of the Year as a senior... Was also named Ms. Volleyball in the state by the Deseret News.
PERSONAL One of five children of Doug and Jana Rogers... Her dad played in the National Football League for the San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons... Her older brother, Dallin, played football at the University of Utah, and her sister, Kiana, played volleyball at BYU... Married USU football player Jefferson Court on July, 17, 2013... Majoring in family, consumer and human development.
