One of the most physical players on the team... Knows how to put a ball away... Is also a very good defender.
2005 Season (R-So.):
Finished second on the team with 358 kills as she played in 124 games and all 34 matches during the year... Also finished second on the team with 2.89 kills per game, and was third on the team with 27 service aces... Recorded 55 blocks and 33 assists, and hit .218 overall... Had a career-high 26 kills in a four-game win against Texas-Pan American on Aug. 27 as she hit .404 (26-5-52) against the Lady Broncs... Tied her career-high with 53 attacks at Arkansas on Sept. 3... Posted a career-high 21 digs against Idaho on Nov. 2... Recorded 12 double-doubles during the season and just missed her first career triple-double as she posted a career-high 11 blocks to go along with 14 digs and nine kills in a five-game win against New Mexico State on Nov. 25 in the semifinals of the WAC Tournament... Had 10-plus kills in 21 matches during the year, and had 10-plus digs in 16 matches.
2004 Season (RS):
Redshirted due to injury.
2003 Season (Fr.):
Named to the Big West Conference all-freshman team after playing in 26 matches and 93 games in her first year at USU... Finished third on the team with 315 kills, fifth in digs (158), and sixth in hitting percentage (.217)... Averaged 3.39 kills and 1.70 digs per game... Recorded 10-plus kills in 20 matches on the year... Best offensive match came against Oral Roberts as she hit .560 with 16 kills... Had a season-high 22 kills against UC Riverside on Nov. 14... Recorded two double-doubles on the year, including an 18 kill, 13 dig performance against Cal Poly on Nov. 6... Those 13 digs were a season-high... Had a season-high three block assists against Idaho.
A four-year starter at Broken Arrow High School, leading her team to four straight region championships... Also led her team to two second-place finishes in the state tournament as a freshman and sophomore, a third-place finish as a junior, and a fifth-place finish as a senior... Named the Frontier Conference Most Valuable Player as both a junior and senior and was named to 19 different all-tournament teams during her career... During her senior season, she recorded 762 kills and hit .454... Is the school's all-time leader in kills (2,252), attacks (4,640) and service aces (240)... Also played for the Tulsa Volleyball Club coached by Rich Kaiser for three seasons and led her team to the national championship during her senior year.
Born October 6, 1984 in Raleigh, N.C... One of four children of Mark and Julie Hodge... Was a member of the National Honors Society and the Oklahoma Honors Society all four years of high school... Majoring in psychology at Utah State.
