Utah State Fourth-Seed For 2011 WAC Volleyball Tournament

USU is the defending WAC Tournament Champions.

Possesses a live arm and is a dynamic outside hitter... Has developed into a great leader... Ranks fifth all-time at USU with 2,990 career attempts and sixth all-time with 1,025 career kills... Named to the preseason all-WAC team in 2011.

2010 Season (Jr.):
Earned AVCA honorable mention All-American honors as she finished the year ranking 32nd nationally in points per set (4.59) and 34th in kills per set (4.00)... Also earned first-team all-WAC honors as she ranked first in the league in service aces per set (0.33), third in kills per set and third in points per set... Finished the year hitting .207 (504-208-1428) and averaging 1.90 digs and 0.48 blocks per set... Was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2010 WAC Tournament as USU defeated Nevada (3-1), New Mexico State (3-2) and No. 3 Hawai'i (3-0) in the championship match... Averaged 3.92 kills, 2.00 digs, 0.58 blocks and 0.17 service aces per set during the tournament... Started all 33 matches and played in 123 sets during the year... Set a single-season school record with 1,428 attempts, had 504 kills to rank third all-time at USU, and 42 service aces to rank sixth in a single-season in school history... Tied her career-high with 25 kills at Utah on Aug. 28 as she was named the MVP of the 2010 Utah Classic... Named the Collegiate Volleyball Update National Player of the Week on Sept. 1 for her performance in the Utah Classic... Also named the MVP of the 2010 Arizona State Sheraton Classic... Had a career-high five service aces against Weber State on Aug. 31 and a career-high five block assists against New Mexico State on Nov. 23 ... Recorded double-digits in kills 29 times during the season and had at least 20 kills eight times... Posted double-digit digs eight times, including a career-high 15 at Utah... Had eight double-doubles during the year... Best offensive match of the year was at Utah as she hit .512 (25-3-43) and posted career-highs with 25 kills and 15 digs... Earned academic all-WAC honors and was named a CoSIDA Academic All-District recipient... Named the WAC's Player of the Week on Aug. 30 and Sept. 6.

2009 Season (So.):
Started all 29 matches and played in 114 sets during the year... Earned second-team all-WAC honors as she finished the year ranking fourth in the conference with 3.80 kills per set... Recorded a team-high 433 kills during the year which ranks ninth all-time at USU for a single-season... Also had 1,262 attempts during the season to rank fourth all-time in school history... Was second on the team with 27 service aces... Set a school-record for kills in a three-set match with 25 against Louisiana Tech at home on Oct. 29... Also tied the school record for attempts in a three-set match with 54 against the Lady Techsters... Those 25 kills against LTU are also a career-high... Recorded double-digits in kills in 21 matches during the season and had at least 20 kills eight times... Posted double-digits in digs four times during the year including a career-high 13 at Boise State on Oct. 22... Had four double-doubles during the year... Best offensive match of the season was against Boise State at home on Oct. 3 as she hit .413 (23-4-46) and had 23 kills... Was named the Most Valuable Player of the Northern Arizona hosted Fiesta Bowl Tournament... Finished the season averaging 1.66 digs and 0.46 blocks per set, and hit .175 overall... Earned academic all-WAC honors for the second-straight year.

2008 Season (Fr.):
Appeared in 22 matches and played in 54 sets during her first season at Utah State... Recorded her first career double-double against Saint Louis on Sept. 13 as she had 12 kills to go along with a season-high 12 digs... Had a season-high 15 kills two matches later at home against Fresno State... Also had double-digits in kills with 13 in a five-set win against Boise State on Oct. 23... Had a season-high three service aces against Nevada on Sept. 27, and a season-high three block assists against San Jose State and Fresno State in back-to-back matches in late September... Finished the season by hitting .073 (88-66-300) and averaging 1.63 kills, 1.00 digs and 0.28 blocks per set... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

High School/Club:
Earned all-region and all-state honors three straight years at Snow Canyon High School and was named the state's Most Valuable Player during her junior and senior seasons... As a prep senior, she led Snow Canyon to the 4A state championship and was named the MVP of the tournament... Also earned tournament and state MVP honors as a junior as she led her high school to the 3A state championship... Also earned honorable mention all-state honors as a freshman... Earned academic all-state honors in both basketball and volleyball and was also on the high honor roll and a member of the National Honor Society... Played for the Southern Utah Volleyball Academy coached by Darice Pratt... A four-year letterwinner in basketball as well, earning all-region and all-state honors as a prep senior as she helped her team win its region championship.

Born Feb. 14, 1990 in St. George, Utah... One of three children of Rich and Meg McArthur... Majoring in family, consumer and human development... Attended the same high school as current Aggie Jamaica Alisa.
