Was second on the team in kills with 210 (2.73 per set)... Set her career-high of 20 kills against Texas State on Sept. 3... Recorded double-digit kills 13 times during the season... Was also second on the team in service aces with 14, tying her career-high of three against New Mexico State on Oct. 27... Finished the season with 78 total blocks (1.01 per set), posting career-high seven in two matches, at Southern Utah on Aug. 27 and vs. Texas State on Sept. 3... Tallied 176 total digs (2.29 per set), recording career-high of 16 at Weber State on Sept. 6... Hit better than .300 in two matches, hitting season-best .381 (20-4-42) vs. Texas State on Sept. 3 and .303 (12-2-33) vs. Oregon State on Sept. 9... Had 40 or more attempts in eight matches, highlighted by career-high 63 attempts vs. SMU on Sept. 10... Earned academic all-WAC honors for third-straight season. 2010 Season (SO.): Started 32 matches during the season and appeared in 122 sets... Finished the year ranking second on the team in kills with 294, was third with 115 total blocks and third overall with 29 service aces... Recorded double-digit kills 14 times during the season and double-digit digs six times... Had two double-doubles during the year... Posted a career-high 16 kills against New Mexico State in the semifinals of the WAC Tournament and had a career-high 13 digs against both Louisiana Tech on Oct. 21 and Boise State on Nov. 4 during the regular season... Had a career-high three service aces against UC Davis on Aug. 28 and a career-high seven block assists against North Dakota on Sept. 11... Named to the Utah Classic all-Tournament team as she averaged 2.86 kills, 1.29 digs and 0.71 blocks per set... Hit a season-high .364 (9-1-22) at Louisiana Tech on Nov. 15... Finished the year with a .177 (294-119-991) hitting percentage, while averaging 2.41 kills, 1.87 digs and 0.94 blocks per set... Earned academic all-WAC honors. 2009 Season (FR.): Played in 27 matches and 84 sets during the year... Recorded a season-high 10 kills against Utah on Sept. 8 and had a season-high six digs at home against Boise State on Oct. 3... Posted double-digits in digs three times during the season... Her best match of the year came on Oct. 29 in a three-set win at home against Louisiana Tech as she hit .500 (9-0-18) with nine kills... Finished the year by posting a season-high six block assists in the final match of the season against Nevada... Averaged 1.30 kills and 0.77 blocks per set, while hitting .118 (109-51-492) during the year... Earned academic all-WAC honors. High School/Club: Earned first-team all-state honors as both a junior and senior at Sky View High School... Was named the Valley's Player of the Year by the Logan Herald Journal as both a junior and senior... During her senior season, led her team to a Region 5 Championship and a fifth-place finish in the state tournament... As an outside hitter her senior year, hit .293 and recorded 382 kills, 204 digs, 67 service aces and 62 blocks... Was also a member of the Mountain West Volleyball Club. Personal: Born May 14, 1991 in Fayetteville, Ark... One of three children of Milt and Georgette White... Graduated in three years, earning bachelor's degree in exercise science in May of 2012, currently working on second bachelor's degree to complete pre-requisites for medical school. |
