LOGAN, Utah - Utah State volleyball (14-16, 8-10 MW) closed out its 2016 season Tuesday night, celebrating its Senior Night with a three-set sweep (25-11, 25-22, 25-14) over in-state rival Weber State (14-13, 5-11 Big Sky).

Utah State dominated the first set early, as senior libero Hannah Gleason and senior defensive specialist Maddie Day-Larsen each served up multiple points. The Aggies kept Weber State in single-digits through the majority of the set, leading by as many as nine. Anderson recorded three-straight kills to close out a 5-0 run by the Aggies. Anderson then delivered the final touch of the set on a Wildcat serve, giving USU the 25-11 win.
The Wildcats kept the second set more competitive, leading by as many as four points early on. The teams went back-and-forth through the set, as there were 13 tied scores through the stretch.
