Wisconsin-Madison

Alex Kern is in his second year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Utah State. His primary sport is football and men's tennis.

Alex graduated in 2015 from Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in kinesiology-athletic training. While at Wisconsin, he worked with women's hockey, track and field, two seasons with football, and at a local high school. Alex has also worked twice as a summer intern with the Green Bay Packers. He is currently pursuing his master's in health and human movement with an emphasis in sports medicine.

Alex was born and raised in Bloomington, Minn. He enjoys hiking, fishing, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.



Carley Bishop - carley.bishop@aggiemail.usu.edu
Washington State

Carley Bishop is in her second year as a graduate assistant at Utah State. Her primary sport assignment is softball.

Carley graduated cum laude from Washington State in May 2016 with a degree in athletic training. While at Washington State, Carley worked with all 14 sports, spent one semester with men’s baseball and the last year with women’s basketball. She also worked at a local physical therapy clinic, Pullman High School, Lewis and Clark State, Idaho, Washington and Washington State summer camps. She is currently pursuing a master's in health and human movement with an emphasis in sports medicine.

Carley is from Auburn, Wash. She has been involved in athletics her whole life, playing soccer since age five and lacrosse in high school and then on a club team at Washington State. She loves to spend time with family and friends. She enjoys exploring the outdoors, watching college and NFL football (Go Cougs and Seahawks!) and cooking.

West Chester

Emily Teson is in her second year as a graduate assistant at Utah State. Her primary sport is volleyball.

Emily graduated from West Chester (Pa.) in the spring of 2015. She was given the chance to work with several different sports including football, women's lacrosse, and spring sports at a local high school. Emily then went on to complete a 10-month internship at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland. There she worked with football and men's lacrosse. She is currently working on her master's in health and human movement with a concentration in sports medicine.

Emily was born in Harrisburg, Pa., and was excited to see what life was like in the west. In her spare time Emily enjoys playing any outdoor sport, hiking, and hanging out with her friends and family.



Sonia DelBusso - sdelbusso@aggiemail.usu.edu
Ithaca College

Sonia DelBusso is in her second year as a graduate assistant at Utah State. Her primary sport assignment is track & field and cross country. 

She graduated in May of 2016 from Ithaca College with a degree in athletic training. While at Ithaca, Sonia worked with football, gymnastics, men’s soccer, and men’s basketball. She is currently pursuing a master's in health and human movement with an emphasis in sports medicine. 

Sonia was born in Phoenixville, Pa., just west of Philadelphia. She enjoys spending time at the beach, going on road trips, hiking, and watching sports, especially the Philadelphia Eagles.
 


Becka Owens - becka.owens@aggiemail.usu.edu
Carthage College

Becka Owens is a second-year graduate assistant at Utah State. Her primary sport assignment is football and women's tennis.

Becka graduated from Carthage College with a degree in athletic training. During her time at Carthage, she worked primarily with the football team but gained experience covering all 24 sports offered. She also shadowed at a local high school and at a physical therapy clinic. While at Carthage, Becka was also a research assistant for the Medical College of Wisconsin and aided in data collection for a research study on concussions using in-helmet sensor technology with the school's football team. She is currently working on her master's in health and human movement with an emphasis in sports medicine.

Becka grew up in Barneveld, Wis., a small town southwest of Madison, the state's capital. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as spending time outdoors. She is excited about wide variety of outdoor activities available in Logan. Despite growing up in Packer Nation, Becka is an avid Patriots fan and enjoys watching football at all levels.

Utah

Stephan Lowry is a first-year graduate assistant at Utah State. His primary sport assignment is football.

Stephan graduated from the University of Utah in May of 2017 with a degree in athletic training. With the Utes, Lowry worked with the football and baseball teams, in addition to working with high school football teams in the area. He was also an intern with the Ogden Raptors, a minor-league baseball affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. He
 is currently working on her master's in health and human movement with an emphasis in sports medicine.

Stephan grew up in Sandy, Utah and enjoys spending time with his wife (Cami), along with camping, fishing, playing disc golf and watching the LA Dodgers.


Garrison Chan - garrison.chan@aggiemail.usu.edu
University of the Pacific

Garrison Chan is a first-year graduate assistant at Utah State. His primary sport assignment is football.

Garrison graduated from the University of the Pacific in May of 2017 with a degree in athletic training. While he was there, he worked with the softball team in addition to the men's basketball and football teams. Also, Garrison worked at Delta Junior College, assisting with the baseball team. He recently completed an internship with the San Francisco 49ers.

Garrison is originally from Manhattan Beach, Calif., and enjoys playing sports and spending time with friends.

Connecticut

Caleigh Goode is a first-year graduate assistant at Utah State. Her primary sport assignment is football.

Caleigh graduated from Connecticut in May of 2017 with a degree in athletic training. During her time at UConn, she worked with women's soccer and track & field. She also spent time at Hartford, assisting with the women's basketball and men's lacrosse teams, in addition to working with high school football teams in the area. 
She is currently working on her master's in health and human movement with an emphasis in sports medicine.

Caleigh grew up in North Hampton, N.H., and enjoys playing soccer, basketball, hiking, snowboarding, drawing and doing photography.


Megan Bigler - megan.bigler@aggiemail.usu.edu
Long Beach State

Megan Bigler is in her first year as a graduate assistant at Utah State. Her primary sport is track and field.

Megan graduated cum laude from Long Beach State in December of 2016. At LBSU, she worked with the track & field team along with the dance clinic. Megan also worked with the gymnastics, track & field and football teams at UCLA, in addition to working with football teams at high schools in the area. 
She is currently working on her master's in health and human movement with a concentration in sports medicine. 

Megan was born in San Diego, Calif. and enjoys being outdoors, running and hiking.
