2015-16 SPORTS MEDICINE GRADUATE ASSISTANTS

Bryan Beachem, ATC
Truman State University

Bryan Beachem is in his second year as a Graduate Assistant at Utah State University. His primary sport is Men's and Women's Track and Field.

He graduated in 2012 from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. During his time at Truman he worked with DII football, baseball, wrestling, cross country, and track & field He has also worked at Camp Woodward and Riverview Gardens High School in St. Louis Missouri. He is currently working on his Master's of Science in Health and Human Movement with an emphasis in Sports Medicine.

Bryan was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, but grew up in Kaneohe, HI, Faith NC, Barstow CA, Leavenworth KS, and St. Louis MO. Bryan enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, camping, snowboarding, skateboarding, and working on his car.




Philip Boozer, ATC, NASM-CPT, CES
University of the Pacific

Philip is in his second year as a Graduate Assistant at Utah State University. His primary sport assignment is Football.

Philip graduated from the University of the Pacific in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. While at University of the Pacific, Philip worked with Men's Basketball, Women's Soccer, Softball, and Baseball. Philip also gained additional experience working with the San Joaquin Delta football team and local high school football camps. In 2012 he graduated from Modesto Junior College with an Associate of Science in Athletic Training. Philip is currently working on her Master's of Science in Health and Human Movement with an emphasis in Sports Medicine.

Philip is originally from Modesto, Calif. and is the husband of Whitney Boozer and father of Katarina, Dirk, and Riley Boozer. He was a competitive powerlifter in high school where he won 16 state titles and 3 world titles and also played football. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, working out, cooking, spending time in the outdoors, and football. His favorite football team is the San Francisco 49ers.




Beri Dwyer, ATC
Chapman University

Beri Dwyer in is her second year as a graduate assistant at Utah State University. Her primary sport is soccer.

She graduated in 2014 from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. During her time at Chapman she worked with DIII football, football at several local high schools, baseball and softball at a junior college, and a Sports Conditioning and Rehabilitation Clinic. She has also spent time working with both men's and women's USA Volleyball teams and the Anaheim Ducks Hockey team. She is currently pursuing her Master's of Science in Health and Human Movement with an emphasis in Sports Medicine.

Beri was born in Minneapolis, Minn. but moved to Vail, Colo. soon after. She enjoys participating in sports, such as volleyball, tennis, skiing, and mountain biking. Beri loves her Denver Broncos!




Dominique Farris, ATC
Fresno State

Dominique Farris is in her second year as a Graduate Assistant at Utah State University. Her primary sport assignment is women's basketball.

She graduated in 2014 from Fresno State with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. During her first year at Fresno State, Dominique had the opportunity to work at Sierra Pacific Orthopedic Center, Fresno Pacific University, and Clovis High School. She also worked with the Fresno State softball, football, and tennis teams. While in her second year, Dominique worked primarily with the men's basketball team. She is currently working on her Master's of science in Health and Human Movement with an emphasis in Sports Medicine.

Dominique was born in Palo Alto, Calif. and grew up throughout the Bay Area and Stockton. She enjoys spending time with her family at the beach, reading, watching sports, and being a role model to her four younger siblings and younger cousins who look up to her.




Kristin Gollofon, ATC
Oregon State University

Kristin Gollofon is in her second year as a Graduate Assistant at Utah State University. Her primary sport is gymnastics.

She graduated in 2014 from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. During her time at Oregon State she worked with gymnastics, football, and cross country. She also interned at a local DII university. She is currently working on her Master's of Science in Health and Human Movement with an emphasis in Sports Medicine.

Kristin grew up in Woodinville, Wash. and was a competitive gymnast for most of her adolescence. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, and outdoor activities.




Ryan Moreau, ATC
Central Michigan University

Ryan Moreau is in his second year as a Graduate Assistant at Utah State University. His primary sport assignment is softball.

He graduated in 2013 from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine. During his time at CMU, Ryan worked with the volleyball, track and field, football, and gymnastics teams. He also worked with H.H. Dow High School in Midland, MI and was a student intern at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. Last year, Ryan worked as an Intern Certified Athletic Trainer with Binghamton University's Baseball program. He is currently working on his Master's of Science in Health and Human Movement with an emphasis in Sports Medicine.

Ryan grew up in Ontonagon, Mich. in the Upper Peninsula. He enjoys skiing, hunting, fishing, any team sports, and video games. Ryan is also an avid Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Braves fan.




Curtis Cazier
Weber State University

Curtis Cazier is in his first year as a Graduate Assistant at Utah State University. His primary sport assignment is Men’s and Women’s Track and Field. He graduated from Weber State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. While at Weber State, Curtis worked mostly at Bear River and Ben Lomond High Schools. After graduating, he worked at Satsuma High School in Mobile, Alabama. Currently, he is working on his Master of Science in Health and Human Movement with and emphasis in Sports Medicine. Curtis is from Providence, Utah. He is married to Whitney Cazier and has a daughter, Charlee Sue. Curtis and his family like to spend time outdoors, camping, fishing, and cheering on the Aggies!




Katie DeLost
University of Alabama

Katie DeLost is in her first year as a Graduate Assistant at Utah State University. Her primary sport assignment is football. She graduated in May of 2015 from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, magna cum laude. Katie also graduated with University Honors from the Honors College of UA. During her time in the Athletic Training Program at The University of Alabama, Katie worked a semester each with Women's Gymnastics, Women's Rowing, a physical therapy clinic and local high school during football season, Women's Basketball, Football, and Alabama's Rehabilitation Center in conjunction with spring football. Katie has spent additional time working internships with Athletes In Action baseball team at their headquarters in Xenia, OH, and as a community health extender in Cape Town, South Africa. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Health and Human Movement with a concentration in Sports Medicine. Katie was born in Gainesville, Virginia, a suburb of Washington D.C. She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially at the beach and hiking. Some favorite pastimes include watching sports, especially college football (Roll Tide!) and the Pittsburgh Steelers, painting, and cooking.




Conner Andrews
Oregon State University

Conner Andrews is in his first year as a Graduate Assistant at Utah State University. His primary sport is football. He graduated in 2015 from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. While at Oregon State University, Conner worked with football, a local high school where he worked men’s and women's basketball and wrestling, and a local Division II college where he worked baseball, softball, and track and field. He is currently working on his Master of Science in Health and Human Movement with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. Conner was born in Olympia, Washington and moved to Beaverton, Oregon at a young age. He wanted to see what life outside of the Pacific Northwest was like so he chose to explore Utah for a couple years. He enjoys fishing, hiking and hanging out with his friends and family.




Amy Bresley
University of Idaho

Amy Bresley is in her first year as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Utah State University. Her primary sport assignment is football. Amy graduated from the University of Idaho in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. While at the University of Idaho she worked with football, women’s volleyball, and men’s tennis. Following her undergraduate degree she was the Head Athletic Trainer at Lake Washington High School in Kirkland, WA from 2008-2010. She was an athletic trainer at Whitesel ProTherapy, also in Kirkland, from 2010-2011. She has additional experience working high school soccer, basketball, and football camps in Washington. Most recently she was the Head Athletic Trainer at Redmond High School in Redmond, WA from 2011-2015. Amy is originally from Sammamish, Washington and is an avid Seahawks fan.
